Pumkin Head Marshmallow Cookies Recipe
2 x 250g packs marshmallows.
11 Cups rice krispies.
½ Cup margarine or butter.
1 tsp vanilla essence.
Yellow food coloring (Optional).
6 pieces liquorice sticks.
small candies and raisins.
Melt the margarine in a large saucepan over a low heat.
Add marshmallows and stir until melted and well blended.
Remove from heat.
Stir in the vanilla essence.
Add food colouring.
Add rice krispies and stir until coated.
Using a spatula that has been lightly coated with spray ‘n cook, press the mixture into a buttered pan.
When cool, cut with a round metal cookie cutter.
With slightly moistened hands form the round cookies into pumkin shapes.
Use the liquorice for the stems.
Create eyes, nose, mouth and ears with candies and raisins.
