Custard Biscuits Recipe
250g soft butter or margarine.
5ml vanilla essence.
625ml cake flour.
200ml custard powder.
milk or water if necessary.
Preheat oven to 190°C.
In a bowl beat the butter, sugar, vanilla essence and eggs together until light and creamy.
In a separate bowl sift together the cake flour, maizena, custard powder, baking powder and salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture.
Mix to a smooth dough, adding a little milk or water if necessary.
Shape with a biscuit maker (cookie presser).
Bake until light brown.
