Chocolate Biscuits Recipe
250ml brown or white sugar.
100g soft butter or margarine.
250ml cake flour.
5ml baking powder.
5ml grated lemon rind.
Preheat oven to 190°C.
In a bowl beat the eggs and add the sugar, beating to dissolve it.
Add the butter or margarine and mix well.
In a separate bowl sift together the cake flour, maizena, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and cocoa.
Stir the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
Stir in the grated lemon rind and coconut.
Grease a baking tray.
Put spoonfuls of the mixture on the greased baking tray.
Bake for 10-15 minutes.
