INGREDIENTS
500ml flour.
20ml baking powder.
2,5ml salt.
60ml oil.
1 extra-large egg.
enough milk (to measure 250ml when added to oil and eggs).
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Grease a baking tray.
In a bowl sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
In a jug add the oil, egg and pour in milk until it measures 250ml.
Cut the liquid into the dry ingredients with a knife to form a soft but not sticky dough.
Do Not mix until smooth.
Turn out onto a floured board and press together lightly.
Cut with a knife or cookie cutter.
Place scones on the prepared baking tray.
Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until done.
