Quick Crust For Tarts Recipe


½ cup self raising flour.
15ml sugar.
1 large egg.
15ml butter.
pinch salt.


Preheat oven to 180°C.
Sift the flour into a bowl.
Rub butter into the flour until crumbly.
In a seperate bowl beat the egg.
Add the egg to the flour mixture.
Mix into a stiff dough.
Spread a thin layer using a knife on the bottom and sides of a pie plate.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
