INGREDIENTS
250ml water.
375ml sugar.
250ml apple juice.
375ml orange juice.
500ml pineapple juice.
1 bottle (750ml) dry white wine.
500ml chopped fruit (apples, strawberries).
Iced water.
2 litres soda water or gingerale.
crushed ice.
METHOD
In a large pot add the 250ml water and sugar.
Stir over a low heat on the stove until the sugar is dissolved.
Bring to the boil.
Boil for 10 minutes.
Add the apple juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, wine and fruit.
Remove from heat.
Leave to stand for 1 hour.
Add the iced water to make up to 8 litres.
Just before serving add the soda water or gingerale.
Serve with plenty of crushed ice.
VARIATION: If you prefer a non-alcholic version omit the wine and add 750ml extra soda water or gingerale.
