Pink Lemonade Recipe


1 Cup pink grapefruit juice or (2-3 Grapefruits if you wish to juice it yourself).
1¼ Cup white sugar.
1 Cup water.
Fresh ginger to taste.


Squeeze grapefruit.
Peel the ginger and slice thinly.
Pour the grapefruit juice into a small saucepan, add the sugar, water and sliced ginger.
Bring to boil and let simmer until sugar has dissolved completely.
Remove from heat and let stand for 10-15 minutes.
Pour through a fine mesh sieve and refrigerate the strained syrup until thoroughly chilled.
To cut the sweetness, dilute with water and a few ice cubes.
