Stewing steak.
onions (as many or as little as you like).
INGREDIENTS SAUCE
½ cup worcester sauce.
½ cup tomato sauce.
½ cup fruit chutney or wine.
STEPS
Preheat oven to 150°C.
In a pan on the stove brown the stewing steak.
Cut the stewing steak into thin slices.
Cut the onions into squares or strips.
Make layers in a casserole dish of meat and onions.
In a jug mix together the worcester sauce, tomato sauce and fruit chutney or wine.
Pour the sauce over the meat and onions.
Cover the casserole dish with a lid.
Bake for approximately 2-2½ hours.
If the sauce becomes too thick during cooking, add a little boiling water.
If you don’t want it to be too strong, add more tomato sauce and less worcester sauce, as the worcester sauce makes it very burny.
