Fudge Recipe

INGREDIENTS

1 tin condensed milk.
2 cups sugar.
2 tablespoons syrup.
3 tablespoons water.
4 tablespoons butter.
1 teaspoon vanilla essence.

METHOD

Grease a baking pan.
Mix the sugar and water together in a saucepan.
Place the saucepan on the stove and stir over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved.
Add the butter and syrup, and stir until the butter has melted.
Add the condensed milk and stir until mixture boils.
Boil on low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring continuesly.
Remove from heat.
Add the vanilla essence and beat until thick.
Pour into the greased baking pan and allow to cool.
Cut into squares before completely set.
