7ml baking powder.
2,5ml vanilla essence.
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Grease a muffin tin.
Place cupcake cases in the hallows of the muffin tin and grease.
In a bowl sift the flour, salt and baking powder together.
In a separate bowl cream the margarine and sugar together.
Add the egg and vanilla essence.
Add the sifted dry ingredients alternately with the milk and mix well.
Spoon the mixture halfway into the cupcake cases.
Bake for 10-15 minutes.
Remove from oven and place on a wire rack and leave to cool.
Decorate with icing.
