Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe


85g margarine, soft.
100ml castor sugar.
117,5ml soft brown sugar.
1 meduim egg.
5ml vanilla essence.
80ml chopped walnuts.
360ml self-raising flour.
2,5ml bicarbonate of soda.
125ml plain chocolate, chopped.


Preheat oven to 190°C.
In a bowl sift together the flour and bicarbonate of soda.
Add the margarine, castor sugar, soft brown sugar, egg, vanilla essence, chopped walnuts and chopped chocolate.
Beat well with a wooden spoon.
Grease a baking tray.
Place teaspoons of the mixture onto the greased baking tray and bake on the middle shelf for 10-12 minutes.
Remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack and allow to cool.
