Biscuits Recipe

INGREDIENTS

2 cups sugar.
2½ cups flour, sifted.
250g margarine.
2 teaspoons baking powder.
1 teaspoon salt.
2 cups coconut.
1½ teaspoons bicarbonate of soda (dissolved in a little milk).
2 eggs.
2 cups oats.
1 teaspoon vanilla essence.
2 cups rice krispies.

METHOD

Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time beating well.
Add vanilla essence, flour, salt and baking powder.
Add bicarbonate of soda and milk mixture.
Fold in coconut.
Rub in oats.
Fold in rice krispies.
Dough should be firm.
Roll into small balls.
Place on a greased baking tray.
Flatten slightly.
Bake at 180°C for 10 minutes
