Banana Fritters Recipe


250ml flour.
1ml salt.
5ml baking powder.
half an egg (Beat 1 egg. Measure the egg liquid and then half it.).
80ml milk.
1 banana, mashed.
3ml cinnamon.
20ml sugar.
100ml oil.


In a bowl sift together the flour, salt and baking powder.
In a separate bowl beat the egg and milk together.
Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and gradually add the egg and milk mixture.
Add the mashed banana.
Mix lightly.
Heat oil in a pan.
Place spoonfuls of the batter into the oil.
Fry until golden brown on one side, turn over and fry on the other side.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
