Vanilla Loaf Recipe
2 cups flour.
3 tsp baking powder.
1 cup castor sugar.
1 tsp vanilla essence.
pinch of salt.
Cream the margarine, sugar and vanilla essence well.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with a wooden spoon after each one has been added.
Add the milk alternately with sifted flour and baking powder.
Blend with wooden spoon.
Pour the mixture into a greased 25cm loaf tin.
Bake at 170°C for 50 min.
Remove from oven, turn out onto a cooling rack and allow to cool.
Slice the loaf and spread with margarine.
