INGREDIENTS
1 Packet potato bake cheese and bacon.
450ml milk.
50ml margarine.
½ teaspoon salt.
¼ teaspoon pepper.
5 potatoes, peeled and grated.
5ml dried mixed herbs.
250ml breadcrumbs.
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180°C.
In a jug mix the potato bake with a little milk to make a paste.
Add the remaining milk and stir well.
Pour the mixture into a pot.
Add the margarine, salt and pepper.
Heat on the stove until the butter melts.
Place the potatoes in a 30 x 20 cm ovenproof dish.
Sprinkle with herbs and pour the milk mixture over the potatoes.
Sprinkle with the breadcrumbs.
Bake for 45-55 minutes until the potatoes are done and the breadcrumbs golden.
