INGREDIENTS
1 packet (500g) macaroni.
2 large onions, finely chopped.
1 can (115g) tomato paste.
10ml sugar.
5ml dried origanum or basil.
250ml cheddar cheese, grated (Optional).
INSTRUCTIONS
In a large pot on the stove boil the macaroni in sufficient rapidly boiling water until just tender.
Drain well.
In a pan on the stove fry the onion in a little oil until tender.
Add the tomato paste, sugar and origanum OR basil.
Simmer for a few minutes.
Add to the macaroni and mix well.
Add the cheese and mix.
