Bite Size Chelsea Buns Recipe

INGREDIENTS

500g readymade bread dough.
100ml soft brown sugar.
125ml raisins.
2.5ml ground cinnamon.
1ml ground all spice.
30g melted butter.
125ml icing sugar.
10ml lemon juice.
10ml boiling water.

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 180°C.
Grease a large baking tray with oil or non-stick spray.
Allow the dough to rise for about 20 minutes and knead on a flour dusted surface.
Roll into a 20 x 45cm rectangle.
Sprinkle with brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon and all spice.
Roll up lengthways.
Cut into 1cm slices.
Place slices on the baking tray and allow to rise for about 20 minutes.
Brush with the butter.
Bake for 15 minutes or until done.
Mix together the icing sugar, lemon juice and boiling water.
Brush the buns with the glaze.
